Post-Game Talk: GAME 80 - Chicago 5 BRUINS 2

Wow you really hate the guy. When he bounces back next year can or will you give him credit because you are all over him with this bad season. It’s almost personal to you.

Is he overpaid. Likely but it’s not your money. Let it go man
I hope he is traded next year, and I have already said if he goes and wins the Vezina, I will be good with it. I have also said a lot of negativities on this team started with his contract talks. That stupid statement saying it is not my money, if you support this team in any fashion, it is your money, when overpay at one position for an unproven player it is a concern. And no, I will not let it go.

I honestly hold him accountable for the season we are having. I would be exteamly surprised if he's in Boston next season.

DS most likely has a deal in his pocket. Matty or Mason will be gone with him.

I think you are on to something, and that list could be expanded and a little surprising.

Lol ok He won’t be traded. He is s good goalie and will bounce back. You are going to be very disappointed when he is still here

Swayman deserves all the hate he gets. He held out for money, missed camp, and then put up garbage numbers. Clean looks at snap and slap shots from high in the zone and he misses them. He dug his trench and better find a way out of it. 3.08 GAA and .894 save %. Glad he set the goalie market.

Bruins had a starting goaltender signed for $5m.
They were desperate to get rid of him, and with it any leverage over Swayman.
They gave Ullmark away to a divisional rival for a $3m cap dump, a 4th liner and a 1st pick they used on a guy who couldn't score a single goal in 36 NCAA games this season.
You couldn't make that shit up. Haha, absolutely hilarious.

I just watched the highlights.
Same crap. different game.
couldnt finish
swayman lets in at least 1 soft goal and outplayed by the other goalie.

Lohrei should be moved to forward. he sucks on D. That 2nd goal was just weak ass coverage. That goal never even comes close is that was Zadorov instead of Lohrei

Will Lohrei get to -50??

2nd game in a row I really liked what I was seeing from Lysell. My first real look at Duran too, also very impressed
Lysell as looked better than he has, I was all in on this kid before, so I am a little hesitant to jump on board, but I someday that excitement for the kid returns. Duran did look good, one thing I must say about Duran and Minten, when they came up to play, they are noticeable, unlike Lysell before and Mekolov, when he got his chance.

two good games in a row won`t lock him up a spot next year, hoping the kid stays in Boston over the summer, busts his ass to prepare for camp next year and doesn`t make any trips back home

I'm glad they started playing Lindholm with Pasta and Geekie. Because, why not? Nothing to lose in creating some chemistry between your highly paid and supposed #1C and your 2 best forwards.

Also glad that they're giving ice time to young players like Minten, Lysell and Duran. Let them grow their games and see what we got.

He's part of the problem for sure

Still can't believe we're doing this, but setting the market does not equal not ruining the market

A great coach once said it was crucial "not screw up the good ones". Its too bad because Lohrei looks screwed up right now (in the head), nothing like early season, and its just too bad he couldn't have been spared being thrown into the fire and sent to Providence like Poitras.

I'm hoping he takes this mess of a season and learns from it.
He was making a lot of bonehead plays last night.

Still young and was thrown into a roll he wasn't ready for with all the injuries on the backend.

Hopefully a new coach comes in and has some sort of accountability. Seems like you can do whatever you want this year and the coaches will give you a gold star.
