They’ve looked really good this period, playing a fast counterattacking game that has typically suited them. If they can keep this up, it should be a fun game.

Oleksiak can still be effective if he tries to keep things simple. He tries to do way too much and does not have the skill or speed to pull off some of the things he does. And it often bites us in the ass.

Yeah but Winnipeg is a tough team. If they can keep this level of play, they will generate more chances.

Pretty good all around defensive showing so far, and some jump on offense. Gourde looks like he has shed about five or six years tonight. Yeah, more shots would be nice.

As a kid when LA traded their 1st rounder(1984) to Chicago for "legendary" goalie Bob Janecyk and Hawks Ist Rounder I was pissed because Chic turned their pick into Eddie Olczyk...LA got Craig Redmond who was a throw in on the Gretzky deal 4 years later

CFB Winnipeg is a pretty significant military base for Canada, iirc. I believe it’s where they conduct flight training.
