I think it’s the combination of other teams letting off after scoring several goals.

Every team is a better team and they will lose a ton even with a strong start. It’s just that they’ll have a better chance at winning than if they’re giving up 20 shots every first period.

Facing 16 high quality shots in 20 minutes the sharks are lucky they were only down by 3. It’s not Blackwood that’s the problem

You know what it is? Poise. Ferraro and Rutta don't have an iota of puck poise between them.

Nice hustle from Kunin, but not a good play. If you cross to your back-hand like that, an AHL goaltender will be able to read it and cut down the angle. If Kunin had an exceptional backhander it'd be one thing, but otherwise he should have gone for the snapper.
