These arguments make even less sense than your arguments usually do. Yes, Hayton is #2 on the team in takeaways per 60 but if you considered the data before posting you'd see Hayton doesn't even average one takeaway per game (Hayton plays 15 minutes a game, 2.66 takeaways per 60 is 2.66 / 4 or .66 of a takeaway per game). And I don't know that takeaways necessarily measure physical strength anyway, I mean maybe they do but someone like Datsyuk led the league in takeaways for however many years, no one ever confused him with Eric Lindros or Chris Pronger.

To be clear I'm not slamming Hayton, I'm saying at this stage he's a mixed bag (which is understandable given he's still young). Offensively creative (incl setting a perfect screen on Phil's goal last game), good on faceoffs etc. I am also saying that during the game against Seattle, other than faceoffs I saw him lose every physical / 1-1 battle which was not great to see -- and if he gets better than what I saw last game, he would be more effective in the future.
My 1-1 battle statement seems controversial so I will pay more attention next game. Hopefully he does better than what I saw him do against Seattle!
