So Kravtsov has a pretty lame preseason. Does NOTHING in 2 games since coming back. Has what 4 pts in 27 career NHL games, and you still climb his bulge happily and pull up a seat.

It has to be some kind of ego thing to not be able to admit you were way off on this dude.

Can't imagine a single NHL coach that would "like his game" so far.

The Renney sucks, to Torts Sucks, to AV sucks to Quinn sucks now Gallant sucks? Yawn.

Ps. I would of thought real hard about putting Kravtsov out to start OT ( Kreider wouldn't of seen the ice) ,and I really would of thought harder about giving him a go in the shootout, but that kinda of stuff can piss off your core in the lockeroom.

I would not bench him tonite. Especially for Gauthier. But GG and his coaching staff are so far ahead, knowing the pulse of this team than i do from my Lazy Boy, well, i think my ego can defer to them.

Dopes think Kravtsov detractors want him to fail. Couldn't be more wrong. I hope he plays tonight and scores 4 goals. Bet all the other ones on here do to.

I WANT you to eventually pin my posts this season and mock me daily for calling him the bust that I and my hockey buds (not on here) think he is.
There are certainly a few who wish nothing but the worst for him, but I do think most are trolling to bug me. But I'm confident I'll have the last laugh.

Good for Gauthier. kept his mouth shut did his job heading to Hartford. Didn't hear him cry about it.
There was gonna be a good chance Reaves (been terrible) and/or Kravtsov (really not an NHL player right now) would take a seat and he would get his chance to get back into the lineup.
If Kreider is really playing hurt he should be out but the fact he literally played the entire overtime last night doesn't give me the vibe that he's the one out tonight.

I poke a little fun, hope you are not offended. I hope he does succeed. More depth for this team, which has a lacking bottom 6 right now, especially with Chytil out.

Bro. Doesn't seem like it, but I couldn't be hoping for you to be 100% dead on right about this guy. I'm not trying to troll or bug you. Nor do I not think your a not good dude, but this kid is busting hard and you know it. You just choose to blame everyone but him.

He's played 2 games. With Goodrow/Carpenter/Vesey/Blais. And he's a +2. You need to give him more of a chance than that lol.

Say what you want about Gauthier-1 thing you know he will give you is an all out effort.Might not show up on the score sheet, but he is always engaged and hustles his ass off
There was a post here a couple days ago that stuck with me: when he was a Ranger, Georgiev was ambitious to the point of being kinda delusional, but Halak must know his role as a 37-year-old backup goalie. That sounds so much better for the locker room, but who knows, it might not be - you want guys to push each other.

It's mostly his fault, and if he doesn't sort it out this year he's careening into goalies in the Swedish Hockey League, but I still wouldn't blame Gauthier for having a chip on his shoulder and being really pissy about not getting to play a single game in the playoffs for us.

We both know you clicked on the link I provided for that info lol.

I'm admittedly neither a coach nor a marine biologist. I sell industrial sewing machines for a living.

Sewing machines have a soft spot in my heart. My dad used to be a sewing machine mechanic in the old country.

Edit: My dad was NOT a sewing machine.

Not playing in the top 20, even as a fringe NHLer to me is different than a backup goalie being upset he's not a starter particularly when you suck and play a lot of games despite having the Vezina winner in net.

Where's the old country

I really hate the Islanders and would really like for the team to win this evening. That’s all.
A convincing win vs the Islanders would definitely be a salve we all could use right about now. Hopefully they're up to it. If they play how they did most of last night we should win.

I think what we need is an early goal or two. There's been some bad luck and a lot of frustration it seems, from the Mika line and PP1 in particular, so a couple early goals could be the boost they need to fall back into their rhythm.

One thing about last night's game reminded me is how much of a dogshit PBP guy Sean McDonough is and how unnecessary it is that he is ESPN's A team guy for NHL. Bob Wischusen who called the game last night is 20x better than McDonough and yet McDonough is the A team guy. Wischusen should be their A guy, he is so much better.

With Gauthier getting the call you have to wonder if someone is borderline to go tonight. Kravtsov, IMHO, as he looked uncomfortable (left arm was it?) after a collision last night. We'll see.

Doesn't Wis do football also? Might be his schedule or his preference. (Playin devil's advocate)
