This will be Buffalo's 1st game back from a 4 game western road. It seems the 1st game back home the team doesn't always play at its best for a variety of reasons. This could be a competitive game but may not be well played.

At this stage of the rebuild, a competitive game is the most we can realistically hope for in most games this and next year.
Same for me, for some reasons, every year I hope they bounce back, cause I just can't hate them.
They have really good young players on that squad, if they could only find what they lack in intangibles and chemistry (and goaltending), they'd become contenders in a short time.
And well, I have Cozens, Peterka and Thompson in a keeper league, so I hope that for some weird ass reason they have a good game.

I'll be watching our kids closely tonight. While also getting to see Power, play in the NHL for the first time.

Yup, they will have more energy coming into this game. My gut tells me there will be lots of goals in this game. Sabres have a young roster as well and I expect the kids to really battle each other from both sides.

I've heard on radio that Drouin has 1 PP goal in his last 102 games, and Wideman has 1 PP goal in 107 games. If we want Fantalli, then we have to play them on PP 
This is the only remote chance the Habs have.

Yep, Wideman’s last power play goal was October of 2017. Drouin’s last was October of 2019.
