Alright, this team needs a HUUUUUGGGE CHANGE. They showed NOTHING good since the start of of preseason (except the 4th line). But apart form changing the coach, realistically what can we do?

Waive someone. Start sitting guys out. Change the lines. Things can be done

It's legitimately mystifying trying to figure out what's wrong with this team.

They looked fine, maybe even great to start the game. They outworked Dallas, got on the board early and had the momentum.

Then came the boneheaded penalties, then came the Duchene goal (which admittedly shouldn't have gone in but whatever.) After that, it's like they were mentally wounded. They stopped skating, their zone entry went from already not great to what i can only assume is Jim Montgomery drawing up what worked when he was playing NHL 94 in his office before the game. Then impressively, they got dumber. Bad penalties caused by focus or lack of effort.

I agree with @RiverbottomChuck. I honestly don't believe they're THIS bad. There's no way losing DeBrusk and getting Lindholm causes this much of an upheaval.
