Don’t they actually have a really good record in the 2nd game of back to backs this season.

For sure all these games now are ultra important.

I’m just noticing that the “lose and we’re done” comments have been coming from you for a few weeks now.

I know you naturally have a pessimistic outlook of everything. Just some good natured ribbing.
I just don't like getting my hopes up then getting disappointed that's all

We've got our thug blueliner Tyson Barrie in, they're shaking in their skates

Didn’t Landy serial crush one of their guys resulting a suspension as well? On the other side, you’ve got choir boys such as Cory Perry & Ryan Kessler (who I actually like :loony:, I’ll see myself out), so it’s easy to see why Colorado doesn’t like Anaheim. Bauchemen’s presence alone should incentivize MacK to score 7 goals tonight.

I loved Perry when he was still good, but Kesler can go straight to hell

Time for Bernier and Barrie to go full god mode with Varly and EJ out. Barrie has already started his Asenscion with the Chicago game.

We're winning this one for G Borque.

Wouldn't be surprised if he says that he'll score the next goal during intermission.

How come Blake's number wasn't retired who played more seasons with the Avs than Bourque?

Bourque was a better player in general, better player for Avs and the whole 2001 cup run was about winning the cup for Bourque.

Ray Bourque is in another class of defensemen than Rob Blake.

Now, I have no issues w/ the Avs retiring Bourque's number, given what he meant to the team in the short time he was here, however they should have waited until after Boston did it.

Game of the year (swear I've been saying something to this effect for the last like 10 games haha). Let's win this... Also 6 points for MacK and Rantanen with no Landy whiffs would be great as well. Also, a coast to coast carry from Z where he runs over Kesler and snipes a shot from top of the slot then proceeds to skate to the bench to smoke a cigar before his next shift would be awesome.

Loss: 40% chance at playoffs
Win: 79% chance at playoffs

If Macks line puts up some goals tonight, I'm confident we win. If not, well hopefully Soderberg and Andrighetto go into god mode.

Huge game.

Wowzaa, that really is huge margin between a win or a loss.

Technically none are official until mathematically eliminated, and I would never have thought Yotes would actually help the Avs last night. This is the biggest game of all. After tonight they play again tomorrow and Avs never do well in the 2nd game of the back to back, which means loss tonight and tomorrow pretty much will be the end, that's why I really think this game is the biggest one. They win this and there still be a chance they make it even if they lose in LA tomorrow.

Are you still going to the LA game?

Are you there, Hockey Gods? It's me, McMetal.

Listen, I want you to know that I'm grateful for the season we've had. This is more than any of us could have dreamed of and it's been fun to watch hockey again. I don't know why you took Varly and EJ from us, but I'm sure it's all part of your divine hockey plan.

Can I just ask for one small thing? I just want to see MacKinnon burn Beauchemin to a crisp once in this game. Just to see the guy who scored more goals in our own net last year than he did in the other one humiliated one last time before he fades into oblivion.

Thanks, and Go Avs.

On my keister
Do or (for all intents and purposes) die time.
Game starts at 3 AM here, so I'm thinking I'll need to be drunk before then. Kids are at the cabin in the mountains, doing the Easter thing, so the only people who will witness my shame are you guys. That's nothing you haven't seen before.
