If You think Zib is playing better out there than Laf, great. I don't. Just my opinion. My argument would be switching them is the best lineup. Laf is a young player playing out of his mind. Zib is a vet who seems to be phoning it in most nights.

But I did expect people to disagree with me so I'm not shocked there. We have a good PP1. I'm not banging my head against the wall wanting that to change. I'm content. But I do think we should reward him.

And he's OUR puppy. You dick.
On the powerplay, he is. This is not my opinion, this is a fact.

Zibanejad, in a down year, has more powerplay goals than Laf has powerplay points in his career.

I do think it's unfair to expect Laf to improve with shitty PP2 time, and when the opening comes, he should get that spot and we should stick with it.

The opening is not there. It won't be there next year. It would be extremely forced.

It's a little late in the game to change it now, yes, but I would like to see how Laf does in Zob's spot just reversed. I know it probably won't ever happen, but as of late, Z's only good for fostering passes on the PP, cycling, and helping clear the puck by one-timing it wide or wasting seconds by one-timing it when everyone knows it's coming anyway.
At the very least, changing the whole formation of that unit would be in the summer.

It should be there next year. He's earned it. And players are sort of like puppies. When they do what you expect them to do you give them treats.

Zib is a great PP guy and it doesn't even HAVE to be him who comes off, but you need to reward a young player who is taking the next step. His 5v5 production is impressive. Make room for him on PP1.

But like I said, I expected people to disagree. I just want him to be rewarded - he's playing out of his mind for this team. Other players just aren't.

Drury 100% getting Sam and Joe to pump up Goodrow's value in an off season trade so they can re-sign Wennberg.
