The Sharks aren't playing like *******, and they're winning.
 
Really dont care if Doughty misses the rest of the season, just as long as he's healthy come playoffs.

I don't want them to be reckless, I want them to finish their checks and match physicality. Their third and fourth liners are perfectly content to piñata us every chance they get.

I get that this is our third in four nights and it's clear this game means more to the sharks than us (hell even MARLEAU is hitting) but I don't like that we are just laying down.

Some of it I'm sure is playing with exhaustion and down our #1 dman but at some point it has to be Clifford or Nolan looking around and going **** off Wingels I'm not going to let you run Martinez without taking your licks too.
 
After Brown's stupid penalty follow by the quick Guppies' goal, we looked fragile.
Need a better 3rd boys. it's time to push back.

I really hope he is healthy for the playoffs, but that hit did not look good. Gut feeling tells me 3-4 weeks, but just based on how he was so ginger with it. I'd bet money on separated shoulder.
 
I really dont care if we lose. If we just wreck a few more of their players(not injure, just obliterate them with massive hits) I'll be happy.
 
We can hope that Gravel signs his offer from us, he would be my first call up anyways.

I would love to see him get two or three games in with us. I stood behind Rob Blake at the forum right before he went out onto the ice for his first game. He had just left Bowling Green and came out to L.A.

The forum you had to come onto the ice out of the corners so they had to open the door that the Zamboni uses. Blake had an equipment problem which had him last to get on the ice. His first game as a King was Monster. I said to him while he was waiting for the doors to open "don't worry about the game just get out there and crush someone".

Say what we want about Blake and his loyalties or whatever else, that guy was one of the best young dmen I had ever seen play in the NHL for a long time all things considered. Not the best O minded dman but definitely the best all around D for his first couple of seasons.

I am not saying that Gravel will be the next Blake as they are two different types of players but I do believe that Gravel is ready to make the jump to the NHL and that he is the kind of kid who could step out on the ice and in a game or two make an impact in his own zone and be solid everywhere else.
 
Man, the 2nd Guppies goal show you how good and explosive Quick is. Jones looks like a turtle compares to Quick.

I'm seriously laughing a lil, Sharks are doing everything they can against a Kings team that is on its back end of a B2B locked in 3rd tired for 3 in 4 and are trying to intimidate us...I'm thinking this will hurt the sharks more then help.
 
Gravel would do just fine for one playoff round.

I am ok with Gravel/Forbort/McNabb any of these guys being called up.

Should be a sign of where we are really. I respect the sharks talent, but we have a good freaking team.

Play is about even despite the 3 in 4 nights b2b with our backup goalie, mostly no doughty, and the Kings having nothing much to play for while the Sharks are going full bore. Don't get me wrong, I'd like a better response, but man do I love what we have going.
