This team is MUCH deeper than any one player. Even a player of Doughty's caliber. I have every confidence in this team to pick up the slack for the rest of the year, including the playoffs.

Could have the "Quick" effect where everyone sacks up because they know they can't count on someone else to do the heavy lifting.

Would prefer not to do it without Doughty as would everyone else here but I like our chances.

We lose one of our best players in a completely meaningless game, probably other than Quick and Kopi the guy we can't afford to lose.

This will be a disaster if DD is out, a complete disaster.

Was just telling my girlfriend that Doughty and Quick are tied as "worst guy to lose" with Kopitar being a very close second.

Exactly! When a player of Doughty's magnitude goes out, it impacts the entire team. And it's up to the coaching staff and the team to rally up and pick up the slack.
