TV guys talking about Dallas game on Weds. Horton will get credit for first goal and may not even play. Interesting.

Precedent.... in 2005 Jiří Fischer had a heart attack on the bench, the game was cancelled with the Predators up 1-0... the makeup game started with the Preds up 1-0...

The goal goes to the guy who scored it even if he doesn't play...

I still don't get that. It is either 1-0 and starting with where we left off or 0-0 and playing a full game. How can you play a full game and give us the goal?

Wait why were they standing out at center ice like it's the finale..?
:help:

Fan appreciation game. They're giving the jerseys off their backs today instead of the PHX game because they have to get on a plane quickly to get to Dallas.

I did, it looked like Calvert was pretty much asking for it.

I think in the replay I saw, the ref's arm was up before the scrap even started, which suggests Carkner was getting called for something before the fight.

Great win, the kind of win we needed in a game like this, when a playoff contender should have outplayed the Isles.

Good luck guys the rest of the way, really like the makeup of your team.

Calvert is crazy btw, in a good way. His cajones must scrape the floor. :)

Ton of heart, every shift, every game..... a real gamer. Reminds me of Matthew Barnaby but smaller and more skilled, Calvert simply pisses people off in a good way... ;)

They usually don't do that until the last home game. But thanks for the clarification guys.

Some teams in the NHL that win at home go to center ice and raise their sticks to the fans every time they win at home.... tonight in Columbus it was fan appreciation night..
