Sry guys….he’s not “saving it” for the playoffs. There is no more “it”. He’s done. Maybe a flashy goal every other 10-15 games but that’s about it. I mean he can’t even pick up one assist. Not one. And look at all these combos of elite linemates they’ve tried to get him going. They’ve gotta eventually bump him out of the lineup all together if this persists during the playoffs. He does more harm than good when he’s out there.

Me too; and if he can't dominate shifts then, I hope he realizes it and doesn't hurt us by forcing too many plays.

The bold was my original concern, yeah. Not so much individual lines, but just kind of stripping away the identity we had leading up to the trad deadline and not really being able to get it back again.

And honestly, my main reason for being less concerned now is how well The Kid Line is playing. They play like every shift has meaning already, and hopefully that is going to trickle through the rest of the lineup when the intensity gets turned up.

Yep, it hurts less because the kid line is rolling. But unless Kane really is just dogging it until the playoffs start, we are going to be seriously regretting not having acquired a middle six speed guy with some “jam” instead of him. Hathaway anyone?
