I'm not even worried about him staying. Drury will find a way to keep him here. Everyone says it's just common knowledge that he and Kane are gone after this year. Same people who said there's no way we're going after Kane after getting Tarasenko. They're always wrong and doubly sure of themselves.

I agree, i believe in drury. He identifies what the team needs and makes it happen but also sticks to his guns. He wants this team to be more of a north south 2 way team and i think he will make the right decisions come the offseaon.

Not really. I think he meant points. I think??? So means they just have to have a point each...but maybe he did mean a goal each IDK. Either way 19-0-2 is still almost perfect.
You are correct. It would be impossible that they all scored goals 21 games this season as only Chytil actually scored that many.

It is quite impressing then.

It’s crazy how 88 can’t even pick up a lucky assist here or there just by chance. He’s literally invisible. Another solid team performance with plenty of scoring to go around….except for Kane. Can’t say I’m not shocked. I really thought a change of scenery and new, talented linemates would be a major boost for his performance and production. Instead it’s as if he’s fallen off a cliff and might be on verge of retirement, unless he can have a procedure done that can help him regain his form. But how many old players come off of a major surgery and actually experience a rebirth? It’s likely that he’s just done. I’m very surprised that this is how things turned out.

I‘ve been pretty happy with this game. We are not firing on all cylinders but Shesty making key saves, kids look great, and loving Tarasenko right now.

I truly hope he is saving it for the playoffs. At least Tarasenko has looked very good.

Me too; and if he can't dominate shifts then, I hope he realizes it and doesn't hurt us by forcing too many plays.
Gave up minimal assets to get him and he still takes off pressure from his linemates due to being Kane. And he still has his effortless moments of scoring.

If Kane screwed up other lines then that's another story.
The bold was my original concern, yeah. Not so much individual lines, but just kind of stripping away the identity we had leading up to the trad deadline and not really being able to get it back again.

And honestly, my main reason for being less concerned now is how well The Kid Line is playing. They play like every shift has meaning already, and hopefully that is going to trickle through the rest of the lineup when the intensity gets turned up.
