I thought he "stepped down"Shouldn't even wait until end of year. Fire Lavi's ass now like Philly did with Torts.
i dont think he's much of a hockey fanDoes Drury actually watch the team?

Now I’m pissed. This is what the Rangers are doing to the good people of this fanbase.Guys i was out watching the final four game and got bullied by some very pretty Tampa fans who had just came from this game

Honest question. When taking into account the contract that he insisted on is there a more disgusting individual to wear a Rangers jersey in history than the goalie?
I thought this was why we hired Lavi, he was supposed to have a structure.
The other goalie didn't have to face the Kucherov line. Not all his fault, but the other guy made saves off deflections, and cross crease passes.
Or pass a puck."Playing well" for this team is a step down from what's average on other teams. They've lost 18 times this season putting 30 SOG or more. They haven't been goalie'd for every game they've lost putting up significant shots. It's just besides Panarin, no one can snipe a puck.
Structure isn't worth the paper it's scribbled on if your players decide to (as Strome put it) "play their way" (which led to the coaches getting fired).I thought this was why we hired Lavi, he was supposed to have a structure.
I'm probably in a minority of one, but I do believe major changes were going to be made no matter what happened. Even The Dolt had to see that they could not continue with this group. While I am very disappointed in the season, I think the good thing about it is forces them to make major changes.
What pisses me off the most is that they took a shit group of defensemen and somehow made it worse going forward.
Might as well call it efense, because the d is completely missingYes, but not even Hellebuyck or Vasi survives with the type of low quality defense that's in front of him
This right here! There's a big difference in the way the Rangers are losing and the way the Sharks are losing. San Jose is doing it all right-- letting the kids who give a damn play, learn, and develop. The Rangers are letting the kids rot on the bench while the country club does pirouettes on the ice all game.I want no part of this country club bullshit next year. Id rather be 32nd in the f***ing league, and have a team full of players that lay their asses on the line every night. This culture is a cancer and it has to be removed at any cost.
I live in Vancouver and the Canucks are a relatively close, but still distant, second favourite team. It's crazy that the two teams have almost identical records. The Canucks have been without their #1 goalie the majority of the year and have relied on a more-or-less league minimum goalie for most of the season. Their top two forwards couldn't get along, one of them was traded away (and his replacement is a 3rd line C who proceeded to get concussed again) and the other one continued to play like a 50-60 pt player until injury ended his season. Hughes has been amazing, but has also struggled with injuries. Outside of that, the team is basically a bunch of 3rd and 4th line try hards. The roster is night and day and the adversity that team has faced is so much more significant this year than the Rangers with moving Goodrow and Trouba, yet somehow the results are similar. It's actually hard to fathom how this team and this roster could do this poorly. It's just an ugly, ugly product to watch and every game that goes by the players become more and more unlikeable.I can't remember a Rangers team I have disliked as much as this one. Maybe 2004, but I was young enough to still care, and with the potential lockout looming, I savored every minute of it.
This is horrible. Watching these games is a chore. They trap but they can't defend. we have talented offensive players who can't score. We have the best Goalie in the league who routinely gets his doors blown off. I would love for the team to give Sam the send-off he deserves but instead we get this garbage. Absolutely no fire, no pride, no will, no balls. f***ing disgrace.
This is the 2nd coach in a row who has had immediate success, and lost the locker room in their 2nd season. Maybe the coaches weren't the problem. Maybe our team is full of a bunch of entitled spoiled brats who think they're better than they are. I can't think of a single game this season where we outworked our opponent. This is a team full of players who are legends in their own minds as they accomplish f***-all.

Didn't see the game, Laff got tossed?
It would be nice if fan disapproval actually mattered to Dolan........it's to his advantage if the fans come just to boo the players.....they're in MSG and spending money....ka-ching!!!! Then there's always his back-up plan.....sell all available seats to the corporate suits.Well...a lot of the problems also have to do with the fans at the game....the club should be soundly booed for most of the game . Let them have it..the message will hit home with Dolan...get Drury and Lavi fired . It at least should be done on the PP . Let them have it...us guys at home cannot boo loud enough . When Laf or Kreider touches the puck give them the misery....I'd love to hear the boos reigning down on some of them at the next game at home . The fans at the games should be running the show right now...DO IT !!!!
