Stats from the game. This was Rantanen's third time being the best player of the match on his team:
And yet we are still (climbed our way up) in the race for the President's trophy. I'm not saying people can't be uninspired by their play, but I'm not gonna jump off the cliff until we're on the edge.It would be 1 thing if it was just a slump a week or two. They've been garbage since February. I can't recall 1 team we've outplayed since Miros injury.
And getting outplayed by this garbage ass wild team is a huge red flag
Could brush it off if they at least looked good and got bad results.
Everyone has outplayed us, badly for 2 months

So much doom and gloom here. The division still pretty much is on the line with the game against the Jets. The Jets, who lost to the f***ing Utah Jazz last night.
Everyone take a chill pill, it's not playoffs yet.
It wasn't, it was game 77 of the regular season, and we still can win the division. If you think that's the edge, you would've jumped months ago.The edge was getting outplayed by a lotto roster wild team
Where are we in the standings? Besides the last 2 games, they've found ways to win games, you know, the only thing that matters.Has this team shown any reason to believe they'll change and win that game? Been one of the worst defensive teams (besides goaltending) since 4 nations. Back to back losses against bad teams
Coaching staff won't change lines, PP is dead again, defenders can't move the puck

The game is played on the ice, and we've been winning and have one of the best records since the 4 nations. I'm not thrilled with their play, but this team is one of the best in the league and yes they can turn it on at any time. Will they? I'm not saying yes for sure, but I'm definitely not taking it as guarantee'd no like a lot of the people here.Look at our opponents since the 4 nations though. By far the easiest schedule in the NHL since then and our losses have come to the only legit playoff teams we've faced (and now 2 bad teams as well back to back). We were dominated against those good teams too
I've been watching them do what they need to do, which is win.You are not being realistic, this is just the beginning of the losses. have you not seen them actually playing the games for the last month?
Wonder what your excuse will be if we get dummied in the first roundThe game is played on the ice, and we've been winning and have one of the best records since the 4 nations. Sure, rose colored glasses, I get it. Good luck with that.
I see Colorado also lost to minnesota in overtime since 4-nations. They also lost to Nashville and Calgary. Lucky for us they must also be total dogshit. There may be light at the end of this atrocious 110 point seasonLook at our opponents since the 4 nations though. Coaching may be an issue. Have the coaches "lost" the players?Has this team shown any reason to believe they'll change and win that game? Been one of the worst defensive teams (besides goaltending) since 4 nations. Back to back losses against bad teams

I wouldn't need an excuse because I never claimed it couldn't/wouldn't happen. If they play the Avs in the 1st round without Miro (that part is pretty much certain), then yea, I'm worried and expecting a loss.Wonder what your excuse will be if we get dummied in the first round![]()
Colorado also dominated those games. And have been outshooting every team they play. We are getting great goaltending right nowI see Colorado also lost to minnesota in overtime since 4-nations. I hope they prove me wrong and I’ll be the first to admit it. Just don’t have a ton of confidence in them at the moment.I wouldn't need an excuse because I never claimed it couldn't/wouldn't happen. But I'm not gonna give up and act like we're automatically losing with stats like this:
GF: 5th
GA: 3rd
PK: 2nd
PP: 15th
Standings: 3rd
Yeah if they play this lazy and slow in the playoffs and lose in the first round, then they should probably part ways with this coaching staff. It’s a cup or bust year.Coaching may be an issue. Have the coaches "lost" the players?
