Meetings should never be scheduled for 9 am. They should never be scheduled at all, but if they have to be, never 9 am.
I have my calendar set so my "available hours" are between 10-3. LOL. I will take calls and participate in meetings outside of those times, but when people are trying to send a meeting invite and looking at my calendar, I want them to understand that I'm not interested in meeting before 10.

Yeah, I don't see where he fits on that unit, but he's better than Goodrow.

Laf is probably the best passer on that unit, and he's net front?

Would really be a boon to PP2 if Zac Jones was in the lineup.

It might help. Seems like the plan with Jones has always been for fall of 22.

My attitude, (Were I a coach at a professional level) is that a 2nd PP unit should be a shooting volume group. You've got 40 seconds, just focus on getting a clean zone entry, and then throw pucks to the net and crash it.

Don't bother trying to set up elaborate passing schemes for high percentage shots. Just get 2, maybe 3 shots on goal and look for rebounds and deflections.

Guys like Goodrow, Blais, etc are good for that.

PP2 is only interested in setting up Trouba slapshots so this tracks. Laf has the best hands so that ay be why they want him at the net front for rebounds and deflections

Will place this here as well.
Anyone glancing and dissecting remaining schedules for NYR/CAR, may notice that they play the same team in 3 games, Carolina plays Arizona and Devils x2.
We play Boston, Montreal & Caps. Advantage Canes?

NYR Home 4, Away 2
Canes Home 2, Away 3

BOTH have a stint of 3 games in 4. Difference is... theirs ends with a game vs NYR, (Advantage Rangers?) whereas ours is season ending vs Caps.
Everything pointing to that re-match vs Canes

BTW, why do the Canes only play the Islanders 3x?
We play them 4. Why the difference interdivision? Seems unbalanced. They may have advantage there as well. Islanders will play their hearts out, to screw us big time, (& have our #) while maybe NOT so much vs Canes. Just saying.

Yes, better than Goodrow and probably because he is a "finisher" with better hands? Chytil has his issues finishing, unless backhand.
Chytil better in corners (stronger, I suppose)

I will be going to my very local brewery known as my kitchen for this one. Have my fridge stocked up with some nice DIPA/Hazy IPA's, and Stouts from local breweries. So, I apologize in advance what I may post during the game.

gonna be at my local supermarket aka my job

will have the radio cranked up for this one. Kreider is gonna get closer to that Jagr record tonight, I feel it.

82 games, 2 games against each team in the west is 32 games. That leaves 50 games against the east. Play everyone in the Atlantic 3 times, that's another 24 games, leaving 26 division games. 7 other teams in the division, so there are 2 teams that only play 3 times. They would need to go to 84 games to balance the schedule.

Carolina has/had 3 games against both Pittsburgh and the Islanders. We have/had 3 games against Columbus and Washington.
