Welp, I might be done with my WHL game early. It's now 7-2 Chiefs near halfway through the 2nd and that's going to spell the end of Colton Roberts' season.

They still play at PNE?

Nope. The Pacific Coliseum kicked them out in like 2015 because they wanted more of that sweet, sweet Disney on Ice money. And other non-Disney events too. But they raised the rent on the Giants to apparently stupid levels that the team couldn't afford.

Now they play at the 5,600-ish seat Langley Events Centre. Which is an upgrade for me because it means i can have season tickets and the arena is like 10-15 minutes from my house. They had previously played here for a couple of weeks during the 2010 olympics when the Coliseum was being otherwise used, so I guess that was a good test run.

Also, respectfully given its history, the Coliseum was kind of a dump and far too big for a Jr team.

Langley's still the lower mainland. I mean, technically Abbotsford is sort of still the Lower Mainland, but Langley is at least central enough to not be too ridiculous for people to get to from the fringes of Vancouver, into Surrey, and out from Abbotsford. The only people that really get shafted are Richmond, but who cares, it's just Richmond
