Zetterlund, Robins, 4th to Ottawa for 2025 2nd, Zack Ostapchuk, Noah Gregor

I wonder how much Zetterlund's value will drop if he continues to be played for only 10 minutes per game on the Sens 4th line.
It’s gonna be like when he joined the sharks and stunk up the joint for the remainder of the season. Maybe he just doesn’t handle change very well lol

It’s been two games. I don’t expect this to be where he stays.
It basically comes down to whether or not he's better than Ridly Greig or Michael Amadio. He's not better than Tkachuk, Stutzle, Batherson, or Perron in their top 6 winger group. The fact that there is a discussion on whether he's better than those two or not shows what his value likely is.

Fact that he can't kill penalties really diminishes his value as a 3rd line winger and makes the timing to move him all the more prescient from Grier.

Perron seems pretty much washed. I'm surprised Zetts isn't playing over him. Greig and Amadio (always thought he was super underrated in Vegas) on the third line makes sense.

Perron has points in his last 4 games. Guessing he had a slow start coming back from injury. Still put up 46 points last year. But either way, if that's the barometer, explains why some felt underwhelmed with the return.

the Sens have a weird hierarchy that doesn't make much "Sense" (lol), I still think Zetterlund is a checking forwrad who might be able to once in a while jump into the top six, but if you misuse him, he will be worthless.......maybe they could have gotten Mathieu Olivier from CBJ straight up? No one would ever F$@& with the kids......

0 goals 1 assist in 13 games lmao. I'm sure @TheBeard will have a tweet from some account called like Sens Cope™ showing why this is actually good.

Sens fan here, he doesn’t have natural chemistry with anyone on the team, they’ve played him with Stutzle and with the 4th line and he just doesn’t seem to have a good offensive feel. He can hustle and he does, but in the O zone I think he’s just used to floating around trying to get open and in a systems like Ottawa where you have to play in certain parts of the ice Zetterlund doesn’t look comfortable having to be in lanes and win battles in his section of the ice.

Tries hard but not a ton of natural chemistry there with anyone in Ottawa. IMO he’s a 4th liner right now in our team.

I wish I could confidently say Ostapchuk or Gregor were good enough for our 4th line right now.

We're in 32nd btw.

Yeah but your team is closer to the playoffs than they are 32nd again. Some really nice pieces and your compete is super high. As a model I’d say it’s close torhe Hcicago Toewes rebuild, it’ll come fast

Schefffer is the perfect player for you guys if you get #1 - he’s super good maybe the best Dman Camada has produced since Makar

Probably be better next year. He was not good when he came over from NJD midseason in the Meier deal, but then potted 20 goals the next year after an offseason/training camp with SJ. Don't know if he will hit that in Ottawa (would guess no), but he should be better once acclimated.
