Maybe it's actually time for Kakko to start PKing?
.... it's now time? Or was like last season?
Probably more a physical presence these days as well.Jones is better than Lindgren too if we wanna play that game.
I posted this a few games ago, but he is definitely guilty of trying to be too deft when the simple play is correct especially given his line and place in the lineupCuylle needs to sit after the brutal turnover on Monday.

Lindgren has gotten so weak
It was 3 seasons ago.
But it won’t happen because if he does it and he’s good at it, the coach loses one of his excuses to keep Barclay in the lineup.
That’s what I mean. This isn’t a Zib or Kreider situation, Lindy still tries to go all out but he has really deteriorated.Lindgren tries to be physical.
He just bounces off of everyone.
And the Rangers aren't playing well now? They lost 1 game and a Cuylle turnover was responsible for the winning goal for Pitt. I like Cuylle a ton but It's ok for him to get a breather. He seems to have run into a bit of the rookie wall. Rempe is also a guy that I like a lot but is also a young 4th liner who gets 5-7 minutes a game. I would rather see him play than not play but he is likely not going to be the cause of them winning or losing games. When the Rangers were actually playing well, they had Cuylle and Rempe in. Big, strong players on the forecheck.
Why are Rangers coaches always afraid to do the logical thing to win.
God forbid we play a D (sans Fox) that can advance the puckHe's also been better than Trouba, Miller, and Lindgren.
They're bleeding goals against and their forecheck is noticeably weaker from the 3rd and 4th lines than it was a couple weeks ago.And the Rangers aren't playing well now? It shouldn't be close, let alone Trouba in front
So has TroubaI get why they dont want to overplay Fox during the regular season considering he has gotten hurt and missed significant time 2 of the past 3 seasons.
So has Trouba
They lost 1 game in 2 weeks and Cuylle has been in most of those games and was directly responsible for the winning Pitt goal. 2 of the goals against Pitt were also empty netters. Rempe playing or not playing is not going to change the outcome of a game much although I would rather seem him playing. They're bleeding goals against and their forecheck is noticeably weaker from the 3rd and 4th lines than it was a couple weeks ago.
I can't wait for Trouba to play more in the playoffs after we were "conserving Fox" all year.
He has arguably the best defenseman on Earth and he doesn't use him as much as similar defenseman are used. There will be plenty of time for complaints then too I'm sure
The wrong ones, you can be sure of thatWhat are the D pairings for this game?
They played pretty poorly vs Arizona. Defense was getting globetrottered by their top line. Despite giving up 5 goals Quick saved their asses a bunch. And the Rangers aren't playing well now? The obsession with Brod is mind numbing
