Ice looked bad tonight. Pucks bouncing over sticks and players over skating pucks. Tough loss, especially since they were leading going into the 3rd.

Too many guys wanted too hit the bed early tonight.

On too PHX.

Pearson/Toffoli looked real bad this game. Carter was not interested in this game either.

Looks like the Kings were already looking ahead too the PHX and SJ games coming up.

Talk about half assin it tonite! They were all skating half assed! No intensity! No nothing! Just laughing, giggling, and not trying hard like it was an exhibition game.

Minnesota is desperate for points, the Kings are locked into their spot. Both teams played exactly like that tonight.

I thought Muzzin and Martinez both had solid games overall.

Muzzin, Martinez, Mitchell and the top line played well. Quick too. None of the goals were his fault.

Outside of that, the Kings went thru the motions tonite. If I was a DAL or PHX player, I'd actually be pretty pissed off by the Kings effort.

Good point, but just because they are locked in doesn't mean they should blow their win streak. They worked pretty hard for it and just crapped it away tonight.

I blame a combination of NBC and Monday night games... If you thought Saturday matinees were tough to win...Mondays make those matinee wins look common...

There is something that concerns me. For the better part of the last dozen games the defense has been quite leaky. They're slipping defensively. It's great that they opened up a little bit and scoring just a little bit more but I think they should cool it a little. I think the biggest problem is with DD trying to be Bobby Orr. That turnover in the 2nd leading to back-to-back point blank shots on Quick was atrocious. Even though the Kings had a one goal lead I wasn't feeling comfortable. That's a strange feeling because earlier in the year when they had a one goal lead I felt they were never in any trouble of relinquishing that, especially late in games. Kings gotta tighten it up!

Do you remember when we ruined it last year for Columbus? Couldn't win a frickin' game at the very end to beat Columbus' rivals.

GG Kings... Now I can cheer you guys on against Phoenix. Hoping for a Kings win, you guys don't usually lose 2 in a row especially lately. Hopefully that trend continues.

Doughty looked like a complete fool out there.

I honestly think they were just joking out there tonight.

The only good thing about that game was nick Nickson let me try on his Stanley Cup ring... so that's nice.

On March 31, 2012, the Los Angeles Kings blew a third-period lead and lost to the Minnesota Wild. Things turned out okay that year.

Well...I'm pretty cool with the loss now. :naughty:

Like I said, the 2014 team is plagiarizing the 2012 team #shialabeouf

I came in here to say the same thing. Not only did it happen in 2012, but 2013, as well.

Minnesota is always a desperate team this time of year and we're half engaged/coasting. It happens.

I think toffoli looked lost in the 3rd I think we need to get Carter his old linemates back he was a non factor again tonight. Only good thing i could think of is no bob miller saying the moulson is quick bro in law every time he touched the puck I didnt even hear moulson name till he scored to be honest.
