Ice looked bad tonight. Pucks bouncing over sticks and players over skating pucks. Tough loss, especially since they were leading going into the 3rd.

Ah yes, the seemingly obligatory ice compliant that follows almost every home loss, that never gets old.

Oh well, can't win them all.

Like I said, the 2014 team is plagiarizing the 2012 team #shialabeouf

An uninspired effort tonight in the 3rd. I just sat in my seat and knew we weren't going to have much of a shot after they scored their 3rd and they sat in the defensive zone for the rest of the game. Kings looked lost trying to enter the zone.

Wanted to get up and leave, but the way the puck was bouncing, you never know if it might bounce in. Anyway, hope we don't have too many periods like that again.

Give Minnesota credit. They looked better than we did most of the evening anyway.

Minnesota is desperate for points, the Kings are locked into their spot. Both teams played exactly like that tonight.

Couldn't say it better. Team was so disengaged it's hard to even be mad.

I know

Muzzin, Martinez, Mitchell and the top line played well. Quick too. None of the goals were his fault.

Outside of that, the Kings went thru the motions tonite. If I was a DAL or PHX player, I'd actually be pretty pissed off by the Kings effort.

Yep, want to give props to the players that deserve it. Martinez is such a friggin beast. Top line still looked mostly good. Everyone else played hungover against a team on red bull.

I usually don't put too much stock into what happens down the stretch. I know there are notions of 'peaking' or going into the playoffs hot--and you definitely don't want to play badly or limp in--but how we play under these circumstances vs. Minny has very little to do with 7 games against ANA/SJ.

Never mind the above season-plagiarizing or how we seem to choke away important division-clinching points over the last couple of years

Annoying ending tonight, but it's all good. Give Minny credit, they earned the ice tonight.

I also want to point out that if we were to meet them in the playoffs at some point, the Wild team looks as easy to rattle as the 2012 Coyotes. Some physical play just unravels them. They were looking to the refs to save them all night on every play.

I think toffoli looked lost in the 3rd I think we need to get Carter his old linemates back he was a non factor again tonight. Only good thing i could think of is no bob miller saying the moulson is quick bro in law every time he touched the puck I didnt even hear moulson name till he scored to be honest.

At least he'd have pointed out that headlock he had on Stoll as ripped his helmet off to get free.

Well, let's hope that loss was a wake up call for some of these coasters to get off of their *****. Aside from three forwards (Kopitar, Gaborik and Williams), and two defensemen (Martinez and Muzzin) the team looked like complete garbage. Doughty especially. Carter, Richards, Brown, Pearson, Toffoli and Stoll didn't generate much in terms of scoring opportunities either.

The Wild would get run over and pounded. It would be just like the way the Hawks took them out, but without Harding[?] bailing them out .

Who's complaining? It was just an observation. Maybe I should've said Richards sucks, Voynov sucks, Doughty sucks, Brown sucks, Quick sucks... that'd be something new.

I'm actually kind of glad to have these sorts of wake up calls before the playoffs. Especially an uncharacteristic third period collapse. PostgAme quotes seem most disappointed in that part which you know will be tightened up for the playoffs. GKG!

My fault guys. I changed my custom user title and tested out a different avatar last night. It's all been put back how it was, but the damage is done. I'll go sit in the corner now and think about what I've done.

Metro, 11-4-1
Atlantic, 10-4-2
Central, 9-10-2
Pacific, 14-8-1 so far

For whatever reason, the Kings have struggled against the Central this year, and it's not just Chicago.

I just realized that Robyn Regher is only 33. I thought he was like 37-38. Now that I think about it, him getting to 1000 games at only 33 is insane.

Well at least no one is complaining about the refs this time. No big deal, thought Muzzin had a pretty good game.

Gotta love NBC "oh wow there is something going on the ice! Things are getting rough" , lets do a 3 minute tight shot on Parise's face.

I can't believe there's a thread about the Staples Center clock again.

I've learned that the majority of posters on the main boards are the type of people if you gave them a fish they'd fishslap someone, and if you teach them how to fish they'd find a way to drown themselves.... Best to just point and laugh most of the time.

Someone actually proposed that the NHL vacate the Kings Stanley Cup victory. You have got to be ****ing kidding me.

And as usual, the double standards in that thread are atrocious.
