By definition, it's not. If we get a point and the Rangers lose (even in OT), we don't have to win every game remaining.Every game is a must win regardless of what happens tonight.

By definition, they aren't must wins. Tonight is a must win if the Rangers win because otherwise they'd overtake our wildcard spot. If we win and they lose, tomorrow is not a must win because either way, we'd still be in a wildcard spot. They are all "must win games"
Lol you even copied the start of my postBy definition, it's not. If we get a point and the Rangers lose (even in OT), we don't have to win every game remaining.
Hey but better panic and rush everything to make sure we run out of gas.By definition, they aren't must wins. Who cares about what the Flyers fans want, and we definitely do not have enough points to make the playoffs.
Because this team has gone on multiple 5+ game losing streaks. We cannot afford to lose anything. Period. How would it be a must win when we'd still be in the wildcard spot if we lose the next game in this scenario and the Rangers/Jackets win?
Not to mention that we all know that a tired Monty isn’t a good one. That game off really helped him out.Goalies will tell you that they dont feel the toll of back to back games until a couple days later. Luongo has said playing back to back took a week to fully recover from.
If the habs gain 2 points on the rangers, the answer for me is easy that you start dobes tommorow.
I dont want to be thinking of any other scenario right now but you still need to spot your backup every now and then. The habs already missed an opportunity to do that during the colorado/stl stretch.

Just because it’s not a must win doesn’t mean we should not try. It means there’s no point in exhausting our goalie who struggles when he’s overpaid when we have to travel all the way to Nashville right after the game and then come right back.Because this team has gone on multiple 5+ game losing streaks. is our loser coach at least dressing Arbs?No Kapanen again tonight
That’s harsh. But no. Running the same lines as last gameis our loser coach at least dressing Arbs?
I agree with what you’re saying for the most part but if the coaches feel like Montembault gives them the best chance to win, then you ride the hot hand. Dobes has been shaky to say the least.Just because it’s not a must win doesn’t mean we should not try. Next 5 games will be similar to Playoff game 6s, ginal 2 games will be game 7s do or die..By definition, it's not. If we get a point and the Rangers lose (even in OT), we don't have to win every game remaining.
