One of the biggest issues with this albeit young team is that we simply do not bury many grade A chances time and time again. Many of the players also seem to have an issue getting to the open spots on the ice and the puck carrier with the exception of maybe Suzuki and Matheson basically have no vision.

They have had some good games this year but overall we are going to need to see many of these youngsters take big steps in the next 2 years...because as it stands today compared to many teams it just doesn't look like we have the horses on the ice or in the barn.

Would love to be wrong.

A good start would be to acquire/develop some Elite talent.

I gotta say I think it's a Florida thing. Both those teams play with that dirty edge. There's a difference between playing tough and taking liberties and out of all the teams we've played this season, both Florida teams play this way.

It's frustrating to watch them get away with it all the time AND get power plays out of it.

We don't need to add fighters, we need to add hitters. Heavy forwards who can forecheck. This is what will make the difference for pushback. We already have our sheriff but we need guys who will wear opponents down
