I'd say bad coaching more than anything. Between Boughner and Quinn and War, none of them seem like they know what they're doing.

The special teams have been bad for the last few games. If there is one thing I worry about when it comes to the Kids and Warsofsky, it's Warsofsky limiting the Kids on the power play. Smith and Celebrini have the potential to be the Connor McDavid and Draisitl of the Sharks for years to come. The way the power play is coached on this team (And this has been an issue for years), I worry we won't ever see that potential.

Not nearly as much as the organisation constantly blowing smoke up his ass about how great he is has done.
He's had free reign to be ass and never be held to account, constantly being given the excuse of "well, we know he shouldn't play that high so it's not fair to him".

i think how he's been playing for the 2nd half of this year, he can comfortably be a #4 like the lesser partner of a 2nd pairing.

I don't think that is fair...he has good physical tools, and has shown the ability to make plays at times. But, overall he tries to hard and is careless with the puck.

Romanov is better than Gorgiev. That’s not saying much, but he definitely can make some impressive saves. Maybe they look impressive because he’s swimming a lot though lol
