Georgiev is such a confusing player. He played well but sucks 80% of the time

Among his other problems one of his most glaring recently is his decision-making and ability to kill plays. He repeatedly handcuffs his teammates trying to move the puck and he doesn't pounce on pucks well when the team is getting shelled. He also doesn't swallow rebounds very well at all which keeps the team scrambling for long periods.

He's one of the 200 or so best goaltenders in the world, so he'll look fine most of the time. It's just he's not up to NHL standard because he's not fine enough of the time.
