Yes, the shot deflected BUT it went through our goalie again. I'll never blame him when it tips outside of the position hes supposed to be in but ffs, pucks are just going in through him non stop these last 10 games.
NHL.COM shows he made 12 saves that period?

Slaf is a bit off tonight. Trailing by a goal. I'd try Laine in the 1st line in third period. At least at some point if they can't get it tied before half way. Suzuki is creating chances, Laine could use them.
A bit off? He wouldn't even crack the 1st line of the Laval Rocket right now in this game. He's putrid when he doesn't move his feet

Suzuki is just that good. I feel even Newhook and Laine would start scoring with him. Even Demidov might also need him next season if we don't get a decent 2C.

Yes, he makes saves, I dont think hes a terrible goalie, he just has a weakness which teams have now identified; he is not good at tracking pucks through bodies. That said I think he is one of the better goalies at stopping high danger chances.

Monty makes the stops he should

Well except anything with any type of deflection, even from 150 ft, or if there is any traffic, and sometimes if they shoot short side he wont stop that either

So all in all, he makes the saves he should…..
I don't remember seeing any shots on net from the Panthers end zone?

I’ve been calling for this for the past week. Time to front load your first line and put the players that give you the best chance of scoring and ultimately winning the game.
