That's round 2. Round 3, Toronto would have Home Ice.We're already way ahead of the teams who would be playing them.
So we're going to sit here worrying about finishing ahead of Toronto for that specific matchup? That's round 2. Round 3, Toronto would have Home Ice.
If we catch the canes, we will have it throughout. Unless, of course, we play Bawston. We're very likely not going to have it in rounds 2 or 3.
Who's worried? So we're going to sit here worrying about finishing ahead of Toronto for that specific matchup?
They're 7 points ahead of us with a game in hand.If we catch the canes, we will have it throughout. Unless, of course, we play Bawston.
You say that now before the PGT following a loss.Who's worried?
Finishing 3rd would be nice. It's not the end of the world but it's something worth playing for.
There’s 18 points on the board. They're 7 points ahead of us with a game in hand.
You say that now before the PGT following a loss.
That's not a lot at all when you have to gain 9.There’s 18 points on the board.
That's not a lot at all when you have to gain 9.
Even if Carolina went 4-5 (and all losses would have to be in regulation), we would have to run the table.
We have no chance of catching Carolina.
This is what I wanna do so let's stay healthy.Well then I guess there's only one thing left to do
They need something to play for. These games are meaningless otherwise. You say that now before the PGT following a loss.
I’ll always hold out hope. That's not a lot at all when you have to gain 9.

You have won the prize. They need something to play for. These games are meaningless otherwise.
Record at home vs on the road proved to be very important in our playoff run last year. I want it for as many rounds as possible.I care about home ice for the rest of the playoffs.
It doesn’t guarantee anything but it’s better than not having it
When I was younger I'd be standings watching and telling myself we're only 6 points out of 8th with 9 to go, WE CAN DO THIS. And we would not 'do this'.These were always my favorite games when I was younger. Playoffs clinched, team is playing well and the stakes are not very high. Just get to enjoy some hockey. I like the team's mindset right now and fully expect a win to set up the Battle of the Hudson Thursday. LGR.
I was at that game. They beat us earlier on in the year when we suckered, let's give them one back
LOL This made my morningWhen I was younger I'd be standings watching and telling myself we're only 6 points out of 8th with 9 to go, WE CAN DO THIS. And we would not 'do this'.
THISI don't really care about home ice against the Devils.
It'll be their first playoff game since the year of the flood. Put the pressure on them in front of their own fans.
I remember 2006. I want home ice.I don't really care about home ice against the Devils.

People don't understand how hard it is to make up ground in the NHL. I have said this before but there is a reason that 78% of teams in playoff position on Thanksgiving make it in. The top 6 in the east have been set for months and none of the potential WC teams could catch the Pens and Piles it seems. We are not catching Carolina. We have a chance at catching the Devils but must beat them Thursday. That's not a lot at all when you have to gain 9.

When we got swept? Yeah home ice would have been huge.I remember 2006. I want home ice.
