I don't know what to make of Lund yet. He's been Johnny on the spot for his two goals, but I don't have a feel for what his skill set is yet other than "puck go in net good."

Graf and Lund having some early NHL success doesn't mean there's no other opportunities to be provided to anyone that may have earned it or has some potential for figuring it out at the NHL level. I don't at this point care whether the team provides said opportunity to Bordeleau or Gushchin or Cardwell or whoever. There's enough certainty around any four of Giles, Kovalenko, Kostin, Gregor, Grundstrom, and Ostapchuk to where saying four of them are injured or more to get anyone an NHL opportunity is doable. I don't think it makes any difference at this stage but it's easy to do if they choose.
