I’m not expecting anything but any sort of success with the experience the rest of the season is good and will be a decent starting point for him when he likely starts next season in the AHL.
High turnover kneecaps even great teams. The turnover on this team from last year is bananas. Pretty much what, 2 players from last season? 3 if you count graf.
I think with so much losing and the season coming to a close (not to mention the kids starting to show frustration because teams have figured out how to adjust to them) the team is just mentally ready for the season to be done. The end result is you get the few still busting their asses (like Wenny and Mario) trying to do too much and that’s when they get into trouble.
Also, granted it’s only been a few games but it sucks Ostapchuk has been as advertised.

The man needs to be freed from Goodrow before anyone should try judging him. I keep saying this, but honestly, has ANYONE looked even decent when on Goodrow's line?
Ostapchuk has looked bad, in the same way that Zetterlund looked bad at the end of his trade season. Noticeable but not getting it done. Which meant that he was around the puck but just not really in sync. Hopefully he integrates at least as well as Zetterlund did.
This prediction should count as a 3pt shot… we have those in hockey, right? I mean with how big of losses the sharks have had lately there must be field goals in hockey.
