It would be insane not to resign Laine. We need MORE goalscorers not FEWER. He has 31 points in 42 games, and he makes our PP very dangerous. He has a 30+ goals per season pace. How can you even begin to blame Laine for the Habs' trouble?

People need to get used to the fact that this is what he is, and it's plenty. Give him Demidov next year and you don't know what it does for him at 5 on 5.

I agree. If Laine stays healthy for the rest of the year and the first half of next year. Extend him 4 years at 8. lol the guy scores goals.
