This year? Gabriel Landeskog and Kevin Shattenkirk if playoffs were the goal.

Prices too high. I get it and heard it for years now.

But NOW we see why they need to be addressed two nights in a row. You cannot blame the coaches when you give them a non-playoff roster and expect them to make the playoffs.

This is what a re-tool NOT a rebuild looks like; keeping all your prospects and hoping your flawed team squeaks into the playoffs when the going gets tough.

The last two years when the going got tough, the Bruins choked. Three game losing streak currently in progress.

I really really hate to be a downer but our prospect pool is incredibly overrated. Most are 2-3 years away anyway.

3 full years of the ends of Bergeron/Krejci's primes wasted for nothing.

And stop talking about collapses. This team hasn't collapsed, they just aren't very good. Major difference.

I'm not sure being overrated and 2 to 3 years away is the same thing. I don't think they're overrated they have some real skill in the system but I also think next season Mari be very frustrating if the kids are asked to come in on white horses and save the day.

Thank you Arizona!

Sad, that for the third year the Bruins are going to go from being in control of their destiny to scoreboard watching really quickly here.

We're blaming Rask for this loss again?

We had all 3 forwards chasing the puck on the D to D pass that resulted in a high slot tip for the GWG.

He stopped Hoffman on a uncovered redirect on a 4 on 2 and a straight up shot from the slot from I forget who. Both in the third period.

Rask was not the problem tonight. The amount of passengers on this team is the problem.

Man the collective amounts of mad on this board is really something. Weirdly since I never expected good things I'm somehow not mad. I think this was in a pure free-roll situation. Happy with playoffs, but not mad without because I just didn't think we were good enough this year.

When you have an aging core it's not a free roll. It's complete waste. Picking 14 does nothing.

Moore need to watch some games in the crowd
Big heart but 2 games in a row bad penalty
The guy is useless , please don't sign him again, time for young players

Not really seeing how Rask was a problem tonight. And I'm a critic. They need more production from anyone not named Pastrnak and Marchand. Krug even too.

The Bruins need much more from Bergeron. Much much more.

Landeskog would have cost a boat load and Shattenkirk will be a Ranger in three months. No thanks.

I agree with what you're saying about these two holes but the solution is not that simple.
