There needs to be an NYR goalie who just has Lady Liberty's crown/head designed wrapping around the helmet. Like how I think it was Johnathan Quick had a knight's helmet as the design. Igor would be a perfect candidate since he likes his headbands

Stomp these foolios out early tonight. LGR
Halak had that earlier in the season.

He sucked ass wearing it and then when he started wearing his current mask he started playing better, not that it's a correlation just an interesting note.

Kakko voted off both power play units. Makes total sense because that's when he can actually use his board skills and slow plays down (generally, not against the Canes).

What's up there was some sort of accident following the game on Sat? Someone fell off the concourse? Anyone know anything about this?

Honestly, if I don't see the kids on the PP for the rest of the year I'm fine with it. They're just not very good at it.

Litteraly makes zero sense. He is best with the puck, even with a man all over him, giving him PP time is exactly where he should be. I'd have him on the units over Laf and Chytil.

The night before the game was set,
Kreider indulged in a juicy bet,
A steak, so big, it filled the plate,
With 32 ounces, a hefty weight.

He savored every bite and chew,
With dreams of goals he hoped to pursue,
And as he slept, his body fueled,
With energy and strength, his spirit renewed.

The game arrived, the puck dropped down,
Kreider hit the ice with a fiery crown,
His stick held tight, his eyes on the prize,
With every move, he proved his size.

Three times he scored, a hat trick achieved,
His fans erupted, their joy relieved,
The Rangers soared to an 8-0 win,
With Kreider's steak, a savory sin.

So here's to the power of protein and meat,
For athletes like Kreider, it can't be beat,
With strength and skill, they light up the game,
And claim their glory with unbridled fame.

So you're saying you're not, uh, "aboard" with this train.

Prefer Kakko on the PP over Laf, I don’t think there is much argument there.

The thing is… Kakko might just suck. He clearly has skill in that department, but the lack of assertiveness and decisiveness and ability to keep up with the speed of the play still makes him a passenger on a PP unit. It sucks to say, and maybe he’ll just be a later bloomer, but this is year 4. He may just be a third liner who is good at keeping the puck in the other zone and has a decent two way game but never becomes a big producer. A 45 point two way third line winger who can play higher in the lineup when needed. Probably the reality.

Lindgren out. His shoulder is going to remain an issue until offseason surgery.
