Another BIG 2nd period
Greig , Pinto with really good games
PCB line produced and generated ; Cozens set Batherson up for 2 one timers off the rush
I didn't like Chabot's D game ,, too slow moving it and poor decisions and lost battles
Ullmark was there when we needed him
Sandy was good

Amadio is wasted on the 4th line.

Chabot was disappointing to me too. Seemed to avoid getting hit rather than getting to the puck first and making a play.

I think he’s shown more chemistry with stutzle than anyone not Named tkatchuk

I like him. Only question is price. He’s a guy I would love at not much. And I guy I would hate at a lot.

It will be very interesting to see how the negotiations for his next contract go. Our pro scouts were suspect in the past and this trade is not looking like a "win" at this time. I hope it is a "win".

💯 agree re: Amadio. But I saw him out with mates other than Highmore and Gaudette several times - so it appeared Green was trying to mix him in further up the lineup at least.

At this point I see Giroux as a guy that needs to play limited minutes and only in specific situations. He looked gassed again last night. Maybe he and Amadio share the 3L RW duties, Giroux sees time on a PP?

last night at even strength
in the bottom 3 among all players in iCF, iSCF, iXG...
vs Amadio who was top 3 in all of those
slow to move the puck to open players.

If he plays up with Stutzle he has to bring something more than other players would otherwise he shouldn't play there. His best game so far was in Buffalo with Tkachuk and Stutzle we have seen others look good with those two before. Its a better test to see what he has now.

Amadio has been great. I’m not arguing that.

Yeah maybe Zetterlund didn’t have a great game last night. But he’s been getting open and causing problems along the boards. He’s fine. I wouldn’t pay him the rumoured 5 he wants from sharks tho

I just hope Travis Green doesn't think Hamonic would have blocked that Crosby shot in OT as justification to bring him back in next game. I liked the way our defense looked for the most part. Even Chabot laid someone out earlier in the game which absolutely shocked me.

Giroux is at 65 mph Top Skating Speed and Below 50th for Speed Bursts Over 20 mph respectively on NHL Edge.

As much as pains me to say it, wouldn’t mind Hammer in soon and letting Jensen get closer to 100%. Jensen was very weak last game and not helping team win, so might as well recover and be ready for game 1.
