Holy chit....the ****ing linesman should be aware of where he is

That's gotta be a ****ing first

Well, the call actually had nothing to do with that.
He tipped the puck to another forward with a skate still in the box. That was the call. One of those rare calls that makes you dig up the rulebook

Learn something every day. Can't play the puck with one skate in the box, while leaving the box.

then why did they wait until 5 seconds after he was out of the box to make the call.....we touched it right away

Can't answer to that, sounds like (through Rims and Jody commentary) that it isn't one of those readily accessible rules since it isn't a common occurrence.

Other than to say that it's speculation. Why do the refs do anything that they do?

That's a stupid penalty to even have in the rulebook. I get it if it's from the player's bench - but the damn off-ice official doesn't even open the door until the penalty is fully expired, so it's not like he still has .5 of a second left on his penalty or anything. Once the door opens, why does it matter if one foot isn't on the ice yet?

Ridiculous, especially when the power-plays are 4-0.

Do you think they have anything on kicking motions while on 1 leg buried in there somewhere? :sarcasm:

Cool. Some OT. I'd like to see the Flames make the playoffs, so I'm glad they got the 1 point.
An OT/SO will be a pretty awesome way to end this game.

Jackets can thank Bob and the PK for this point. Our offense just sucks. Arty's goal was a fluke.
