Theoretically sure. Look at the scoring chances. You can control play but if you can't score you aren't going anywhere. If in the brief periods the other team controls play the floodgates open to the front of your net you are absolutely screwed as this team has been for months.

Well do you think we’ve outplayed the other teams 75% of those games? Because we haven’t. Therefore our record clearly reflects something similar in that timeframe. Not hard to comprehend.

I’m seeing a lot of issues where a forward misses an assignment by a lot(similar to that goal) that causes a tire fire with defensemen often trying to compensate.
