Yeah it was a lower body injury and then an illness came from it.. the transparency on it was awful, so IDK what it was.. but I'd think it isn't really rushing him back in any case.. though obviously I would have wished he waited until after the Philly game to come back.

It's nebulous as to what it was.

It was at first determined to be a non-Covid virus.

A few days later, it became an LBI.

Which prompted one Twitter user to conclude: Virus + LBI = STD :sarcasm:

Gudas shot a puck on his foot in the shit show game they played in january against the Panthers and since then he had treatment days. maybe he got an infection? who knows.

Hard to say. They certainly didn't show any hesitation in rushing Guhle back or letting CC play with a separated shoulder.

The whole set up requires an audit -- from support personnel to practices and protocols. We don't know for certain who or what, but there is a lot of room for improvement so someone or more than one, will take the fall after the org. does its due diligence.

It doesn't change anything for now obviously, since it's supposed to happen in the off season.

What I hate the most about him
Is he literally thinks he is THAT amazing of a player, a top line player who makes top line money and that he deserves powerplay time because hey, he's a "leader"

He really watches the games upstairs and goes "god they miss me out there, i could be helping so much right now"
But.. he doesn't.

I think we randomly win this game despite Tank Commander Wideman back there and Vasilevskiy in nets, because that's just how the hockey gods roll it seems.
