GDT: Game 71: Red Wings at avs 9:00 pm et 3/25/25

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Big road win tonight and this team pulls right back into the playoff picture.

Also winning against a top team should do wonders for the team moral.

want a win tonight but will be happy if it's competitive.

Haven't been posting much but been painfully watching this ride fall off the tracks. Another year of looking like we'll get playoff hockey only for it to crash and burn in a spectacular way.

I know everyone is terrified of being a middle of the road team that gets bounced in round 1, but I could really use some of that round 1 disappointment right about now. Mrazek being back on the roster reminds me of those wonderful days of thinking we might sneak past Tampa.

Yeah, I'm definitely willing to run the risk of being middle of the road if it means we get some playoff hockey this year. Miss seeing you around. Hope life has been kind.

"28 years minus a couple of days ago was March 26th, 1997; you may remember it as "Fight Night at the Joe". Players who were throwing punches, tackling each other, and spitting blood that night are now in the front offices of various teams and agencies calling each other regularly to make deals instead of chirping from the Sin Bin. So life moves on, rivalries cool., and scabbed knuckles heal. Wings fans of today might not have the visceral dislike of the Avalanche that the previous generation had (and vice versa) but those same fans wouldn't mind a little sandpaper tonight on the ice to bring back memories of the greatest rivalry in sports, and if that means some scabbed over knuckles from Colorado or Detroit, so be it."
