I do not know why Cuylle is sitting but his production was not great the last month or more. I think he has 2 goals and 0 assists in that time. Sometimes a day up high watching the game can do a lot of good for a kid.

yeah it's not wild to think he might need a rest while nearing the end of his first NHL season...he'll be relied on for the playoffs I"m sure.

Exactly especially as you said for a rookie. Its a long season. I personally always felt like I improved from watching from another view. On the ice everything feels so quick but when not on the ice you see you have more time than you thought.

My only thought is MAYBE lavi wants cuylle to play a more chippy game and maybe this is the fire he needs. Cuylle is a really good player for us but if he can be more of a shit stirrer I think his value skyrockets

This is such a huge game. My son is returning from 2 weeks in Japan tonight (last year he went to Europe for 3 weeks) and if he doesn't sleep over, I'll be disappointed, but watching this game will help me get over it!

I love Cuylle but it does appear as though the season has worn him down a bit. I dont think getting a break is a bad thing for him. Most rookies need a bit of a reset their first season
