This team suddenly forgot how to defend at game 70-71

Make it make sense?? You can't

I don't know man. Ducks went Sennecke/Carlsson. Why didn't they go Carlsson/Yakemchuck? Buffalo went Savoie, Benson, Helenius. Detroit picked 3 forwards with their last 3 high picks...We Could have done that and say we are done with the offense. Then...move players or if you REALLY want d-men, concentrate there with your other picks. Pick Hutson instead of Hage. Or Solberg.Or Badinka. Or Brunicke. Instead of Mesar in 2022, pick Chesley....I mean...tons of options.
Carlsson and Sennecke are nothing alike. A winger and a centre. Buffalo and Detroit are not examples any franchise should follow. And really the players Detroit pick are all low ceiling.

Habs struggling on first periods + Philly players auditioning for a job with their new coach (and some even exerting some payback on Torts), leading to a perfectly predictable start to the game.

Plus Michkov scoring, adds another layer of irritation for some Habs fans.

Let’s see how they respond in the 2nd.
The Habs don't get the next goal they're done tonight

He gets a pass because he scores goals and I still love him. But holy **** Caufield is soft. And despite his obvious physical limitations he still doesn't have a great body language in puck battles.
He's playing like he's hurt or something. Many of our players are playing like they are banged up.

He’s the only guy who created anything with Hutson this period. Not the guy to speak about.
