If we even had an average home record for the conference, 20 wins, we would be 1 pt back of Boston. What's hard to understand is we have beat Pitt, Boston, Wash, Calg, NYR, Chi and St. Louis at home yet we have losses to Tor, Car twice, Zona, Buff and Col. If we win those 6 games, we are 3 points out.

I'll give him that fighting sometimes sparks a team. But this also means that 1) You don't need Jared Boll around to do it, and 2) Dorse really shouldn't have fought Tropper. Momentum is zero sum, so that means if fighting is good for momentum, it's also really bad. I do not expect Ca5150 to get this or to ever criticize a fighter for giving momentum to the other team.
