No the wouldn't. Any type of win is 2 points, regulation or OT. Any type of lose is 0 points, regulation or OT. Tie is 1 point each. All games have a total of 2 points. Just my thoughts as someone is not a fan of the current OT gimmicks of 3 on 3 and shootouts.

Current 3 point games make no sense. All games need to yield the same amount of points in the standing full stop.
