To be fair we've clearly been the better team in this game.

Reimer has been much better than Forsberg and Hamonic is a disaster, and that's the difference.

Hamonic is part of the team and Green playing him more than he should is part of the team's identity.

So yes, we haven't been good enough.

This game was predictable. Whenever you “dominate” zone time and let the shots be equal and let the other team do what they want in your zone it’s a recipe for a loss.

How does anyone (coaches and fans alike) watch Hamonic/Highmore/Forsberg and come to the conclusion they deserve to play a single minute in the NHL? How many goals against does it take?

It would be one thing to start the year with these guys, but continually watching them get beat all year and continuing to put them out there over objectively better players makes me seriously question their evaluation ability.

I also hope Kleven takes a positive step forward next year. Matinpalo is OK as #7D. We really need another competent RD.
