? Yeah? You saw the slick goal they scored lol. This team always stops playing when they either score a dick goal or score early.

They did both.

It’s very hard to snap them back into compete mode when they do that.
 
Thoughts on the 1st period:

1) Giroux is shot. Completely done. Perron is the superior (and faster) player at this point.

2) Amadio should move up to the 3rd line, with Giroux demoted to the 4th. #22 was and still is playing spectacular hockey.

3) WHY IS HAMONIC DRESSED OVER MATINPALO??

Not terribly impressed with that period. When this group scrambles, boy do they scramble! And Giroux just doesn't have the legs to play with Greig and Pinto. Hate to say it, but I don't see how he fits on this team next year.

Both can be true, the goal is in no way on him, but he's been bad.

If Ullmark is in net, he's probably settling the game down by freezing some pucks that Forsberg kept in play,

Instead, Buffalo got momentum and we got rattled

Reimer's career numbers against the Sens are too strong. Sabres are winning this one for sure.

Can see this happening in real time. Ullmark calms things down while Forsberg starts scrambling around and it seems like it spreads to the whole team

Couple of shifts where his speed killed him. complete over reaction to want him off the team he has been a net positive this season and will be next year as well as long as he is in a third line role.
 
Crazy thing is that the Sabres almost (and probably should have) scored on the next face-off after they scored their first goal. Need to wake up.
