I hear 11.5 thrown around so much when league snipers score goals against Igor that I'm surprised no one reported on Igor walking into Drury's office, gun drawn, and making him sign that contract in blood.

Some fans are truly sorry that the money we wasted on Igor could've been given to another 30+, bottom 20, AHL player.

We had a rich man’s version of Knies in J.T Miller then trade him away but then reacquired him as he is becoming the poor man’s version of T.J Oshie. This is why they warn the average investor to not time the market. The Rangers organization is still balls deep in K-Mart stocks.

Igor went from being the new hope to one of my least favorite players of all time. He has the talent. He doesn’t have 1/8th of the heart. Hank was a saint by comparison. Igor is an entitled mercenary.

Part of the locker room stuff was a rift with Igor and some of the players. Henke rarely showed up teammates, Igor does it a lot. Now in Igor's defense this team plays like one of the worst defensive teams in the league in years, but when you show up teammates you damn well better be able to carey the mail. He has not been good enough with leaky goals all year but he's also just watched teams walk down the slot all season with the puck. It's just a terrible cycle of shit right now. We've also seen a lot of goalies over the years struggle badly when they have a child added at home. It's not an easy adjustment for most goalies, probably moreso than most players. Still you want more from Igor and less staring down teammates or showing them up.

We can't get ONE Ranger to put a body or stick on the guys that have scored goals. We're letting guys walk into the slot from the blueline, but somehow the team is playing better.

You know how I feel about paying goalies. Still, Hank was all in. I just don’t believe you prioritize paying goaltenders or even acquiring/building around them, but at the very least, even when he was off, Hank actually bled blue. Igor is never going to be on Hank’s level.

I unno, these last two games haven’t really been my cup of tea, it’s kinda down low killing my vibe, all the physicality and J.T yelling at me to play the body. Wish it’s May already.
