GDT: [Game #70] Dallas Stars vs. Minnesota Wild – 7:00 PM CT (Victory+)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
  • Live threads are back for GDTs, if your thread isn't live report it and a mod will turn it up.

Are we sure it's on Victory? Sitting in the dentist chair this morning, the local Fox News broadcast has a lot of Stars features, and said "Coverage Starting at 6.30PM."
How dare you question the knowledge of someone living 5000 mi away about local stations!

Coverage starts at 6.25pm

These lines are definitely gonna work this time!

From further down:

So f***ing stubborn and slow to change. It's the hallmark trait of his career. The team will go as far as their skill will take them, but as soon as a similarly skilled team has a counter, it's all over - there will be no counter to the counter. The players just need to "try harder and play better".

We have one more H2H with Winnipeg too.

Odds are low, but not impossible. Minnesota catching Colorado is more likely, but still not expected.

And with Mcdavid and Draisatl out for the game vs Edmonton Wednesday, Dallas really should be winning that.

If Dallas does win tonight and the back to back in Alberta, they will quickly draw close to the division.

Let's see how it plays out, but that Winnipeg loss yesterday to sabres makes it realistic IMO.

Have to win next 3 I think...if they do, it's alive

Gustavsson is playing very well right now. Tonight is the type of game where you'd love to see your big new sniper step up and bury a goal that few other guys on the team could score.

This is the type of game you acquire a guy like Rantanen for. Would love to see him have a good one and put the puck in the net

Also, I said I'd buy his jersey if he scored on this homestand and tonight is the last game of the homestand...cmon now Rantanen

Dadonov extends his shift and Roope changes early so he and Rantanen share the ice for like 10 seconds, great
