Anybody ready to change their opinion of Wennberg yet? :sarcasm:

In all seriousness, he and Dano were both outstanding tonight.

And Joey's move actually is controller disconnected. I love it!

Would like to see Dano in the shootout instead of Letestu, but glad they won for CMac, he will have nightmares of pucks flying at him tonight!

Those SO goals by Wennberg and Johansen were ****ing sick. Wennberg's SO goal last week was kinda lucky, but this one was pure skill.
I wasn't the biggest Wennberg fan earlier in the season, but he's impressed me over the last dozen games or so. 100% fine with him staying in the NHL.
And good to see C-Mac finally win a game in the shootout. Those haven't really been his thing.

I wasn't too sold on the future of the club a few weeks ago. Dano and Wennberg have me believing again.

What an amazing first NHL experience and that goal by Wennberg was insane. I was the only CBJ fan in my section and when id cheer for a goal people would yell cheer louder man and id try and start random CBJ chants for fun and everybody would just laugh

I know it's hard to lose with Dano, Wennberg and Edmonton but come on.... winning now is not impressing many.... win in October and November but not now, not with the best draft in a generation...

We're more than likely stuck in our current spot (6th overall). 5 points to move up and I think 4 points to move further down. Might as well accept the 6th/7th overall pick.

Jackets had absolutely no business winning that game last night. I really thought Edmonton controlled the play the entire game. The Jackets were chasing all night long. Good on C-Mac for his performance last night.

I'm on the Wennberg express now. That kid is going to be a good one, it just took some time. Lots of skill in that kid. Our center iceman are good, real good. Joey, Wenny and Dubi, plus either Letestu or Arty. That's top quality to me.

Still not sure why I stayed up for this one, but oh well. The year mirrors the history of the franchise. They suck, but not bad enough to win the lottery. When healthy, this club is a top half NHL team, not a bottom feeder. Injuries will be the story no matter how much you try to deny it. As of last night, 444 man games lost to injury. Looks like they'll probably hit the 500 mark before the end of the year.

I have been saying for the past little while that my approach to games now is to watch the young guys, especially Dano, and Wennberg.

They are not disappointing me.

They are making some other players expendable for next season.

If without sarcasm. My opinion about Wennberg definitely changing for the better.
Alexander "shootout game winning goal" Wennberg. Left to start scoring goals in the game, for the full of happiness.

Wennberg is starting to rack up the assists now that he has some people finishing. Now we just need him a bit more selfish. 1 shot per game (none last night) isn't going to cut it; although this month has been a bit better for him overall.

That line has been plus players for the month.

Hartnell isn't going to keep up at a 30% shooting percentage, however.

Last night as pretty typical; we give up way too many chances. We can say whatever you want, including chances aren't the same things as shots, but there is a systemic issue when you are constantly out shot by such wide margins.

It's good to have Murray back; would be awesome to get Jenner back soon.
