really wish they'd just put in the insurance goal during the double minor, though. that's a game wrapped and they couldn't find the sticky tape. it shows the team still has a lot of confidence to regain.

So some of us are mad we won?

Who are we? Oilers fans?

Losing will force Aquilini to make changes. Hopefully Gillis would be fired, Tortorella would be fired, and we would end up with a high draft pick to draft a highly skilled forward that this organization needs so badly. Winning achieves nothing since we aren't going to make the playoffs. If anything, it might give Gillis more opportunity to talk his way out of being fired.

Yeah but now that it doesn't matter it is kind of annoying. We might as well get the best pick we can but in typical Canucks fashion we can't even tank properly.

Where were these wins in January?

Teams don't tank intentionally. I'd rather watch players compete than cheer my team to lose. I think anyone who would rather see the team lose than support the players are goofs.

It doesn't matter either way. We are playing a **** team, of course we'll probably win. That's why we weren't winning in January.

The only way we'd get a pick worth a damn is by winning the draft lottery anyhow.

And you know every pre-game speech by the coach will be "Who'll be here next year and who'll be gone? This game will decide that." from here on out.

We want to instill a losing mentality? That's how. The way things are going anyhow we'll probably wind up with the 8th or 9th pick. Which will be a good pick assuming our scouting isn't ****ing stupid.
