Sid easily, it was obvious that Sid would bring 10+ performance to the table on a game like this, McDavid might dominate like he has done in half of the final games, but it's just as likely that he is invisible like he was tonight and has been in other half of the final games.

Guys, is this still funny? Mc0+0again is useless when it comes to winning. Hard to win when 97 plays half of the game and wastes every single Offensive zone faceoff and powerplay. So McDavid did something on what 2? Or 3? Of the 7 games while getting all the offensive responsibility.

Prime example of a guy like McDavid getting individual award and actual winner like Barkov following Crosby's footsteps and getting the real award.

Crosby only played half of game 7 before he got cheapshotted by Franzen of the Ref Wings, but McDavid was truly bad tonight. Turning the puck over constantly.

And even when he got a chance wide open in front of Bobrovsky since the refs didn't want to call the Oilers numerous picks, he blew it.

Sid was 21 years old playing a f***ing juggernaut with Lidstrom, Zetterberg, Datsyuk etc who had won 3 cups in 10 years. No offense to the Cats but they had nothing on that Wings roster.

He also proved himself in clutch games showing up big in series clinching games, Olympic gold medal games(including the golden goal)

Crosby literally didn’t lead ANY of his cup wins in points and needed Kessels line to carry the offense in his smythe win where he had only 19 points and was a -3…
