It doesn't really surprise me that Jones isn't playing. A small third pairing dman who isn't a PP1 guy and doesn't PK is an extreme dime a dozen player and the exact type of guy you often see with great numbers in the AHL/Europe that never does much in the NHL.

Trouba will be hunting today I think. He was a leaguewide pariah getting dunked on during the ECF against them, he remembers . Early returns look like he's skating much better and was effected by the injury. He owes Rodrigues a real one, and I would not be upset to see him get Bennett.

They've had a mediocre start and no Barkov. We might lose but their current version with no Barkov is probably not as good as Toronto.
